Something Old, Something New

This is just a quick post because I haven't posted in a couple of weeks and want to share something with the accessories loving crowd.  One of my beloved pets has been very sick and in the hospital so I haven't had a spare moment to blog.  Barbara even drew some sketches of vintage bracelets and I haven't had time to post them.

Joyce Brooks of Black Tie Magazine (www.blacktiemagazine.com) gave me this beautiful bag earlier this week and it matches perfectly with a very old pair of shoes that I love but don't wear much anymore.  Now that this purse has breathed new life into the shoes I can't wait to wear them again.  The bag and shoes are such a perfect match they look like they are by the same designer, but they're not!  I think they both have Middle Eastern flair.  The purse has little coins hanging from it and they make a sound as they hit into each other that reminds me of a bellydancer.  The shoes are by Giuseppe Zanotti and must be at least ten years old.  Thank you Joyce for rejuvenating a favorite pair of old shoes :-)
