Alison & Barbara: We are a mother (Barbara) and daughter (Alison) who love accessories. Barbara, who contributes occasionally to this blog, worked for Mademoiselle Magazine in her 20's and has handmade many outfits and accessories for herself and others. Alison's professional life has been spent working in the hospitality industry, including having a magazine column for four years, but her true love has always been collecting and researching accessories and she has made and sold her own jewelry. Alison's antique purses have been featured in the New York Times Sunday Styles section many times. Her love of jewelry and shoes is widely known. Alison is the primary blogger for Accessory Generation and also guest blogs regularly for a major lifestyle blog based in NYC.
